MOUNTAIN LEADER TRAINING course

The Mountain Leader scheme is designed for people who want to lead groups in the mountains, hills and moorlands of the UK and Ireland. If you love being out in the mountains and want to share your enthusiasm with others, become a Mountain Leader and you’ll never look back (unless you’re checking your group’s still there!).

To become a Mountain Leader you will need to register here

Once you have registered you will need to log 20 'quality mountain days' before you can attend a training course. Training courses run over 6 days. Attendance on a training course does not constitute a qualification until you have passed the assessment course.

We work extensively as mountain leaders so we know the skills it requires to become an exceptional leader, and these are the techniques we aim to give you as part of your journey.
